This new album is a concept album of rock & roll ballads/love songs for the planet Venus, with a heavy dose of astrology and space age themes running throughout. It's sexy, it's camp, it's dance-y as hell and I genuinely think it's my best work so far, if I may say so. Influences on this record have included David Bowie, Jonathan Richman, and the Jesus & Mary Chain.
The music was recorded on reel-to-reel tape at Green Door Studios in Glasgow back in April, and pressed on 180g vinyl by Seabass Vinyl in East Lothian.
